There are two ways to book: Direct Booking - Browse available artists, select one that fits your needs, choose a date from their availability, and send a booking request. If they offer instant booking, you can book and pay immediately. Post a Request - Describe what you're looking for and artists will send you bids. You can then choose the best offer.

Payment is charged upfront but held securely by Audiolancer until the gig is completed. After the performance, you have 7 days to confirm satisfaction or raise any issues. Once confirmed (or after 7 days with no issues), the payment is released to the artist. This protects both parties.

If an artist cancels, you'll receive a full refund. If they don't show up, you can report a no-show through your booking page and you'll receive a full refund. Artists who cancel or no-show receive penalties on their account.

Yes, but refund amounts depend on the artist's cancellation policy and when you cancel. Typically: 7+ days before = full refund, 1-7 days before = 50% refund, less than 24 hours = no refund. Check the specific cancellation policy on each artist's listing.

First, create your artist profile and set up Stripe for payments. Then post your availability - include your location, dates you're available, rates, and what type of performances you offer. Bookers can find you through search or you can bid on posted gig requests that match your skills.

Payment is released after the gig is completed and the booker confirms satisfaction (or automatically after 7 days if no issues are raised). The funds are transferred directly to your connected Stripe account. Audiolancer takes a 10% platform fee from each booking.

When you enable instant booking on your availability, bookers can book and pay immediately without waiting for your approval. This can help you get more bookings as it reduces friction. You can still set specific available dates and any requirements in your listing.

If a booker raises a dispute, our team will review the case and may request evidence from both parties. We aim to resolve disputes fairly. If you performed as agreed, you'll receive your payment. Having clear communication and keeping records of agreements helps in case of any disputes.

Our platform supports a wide variety of live performances including: vocalists, DJs, live bands, acoustic performers, string quartets, jazz ensembles, pianists, and more. Both solo artists and groups are welcome. You can filter by performance type when searching.

Audiolancer charges a 10% platform fee on completed bookings. This is taken from the artist's payment. Bookers pay the listed price with no additional fees. The platform fee covers payment processing, customer support, and platform maintenance.
