SkriptKid is the electrifying resurrection of Josh Van Riel's passion for electronic music.

Josh formerly produced electronic music as well as teaching it online under 'Studio Slave', his educational alias and online learning platform, predominantly focusing on techno & house.

In 2015, Josh took a hiatus away from music to focus on learning how to code and pursue some business adventures. Many lines of code later and Josh has re-emerged from this digital odyssey under his new alias, SkriptKid.

SkriptKid marks Joshes return to the music scene and embodies his love of coding and new found appreciation for his widened taste of all heavy hitting electronic music genres. SkriptKid aims to blend these worlds seamlessly. no longer out of necessity, but for the sheer love of the art.
